Lovebirds

Love birds are small parakeets that are red faced green parakeets in wild.These parakeets have small Green coloured tail.These are so beautiful bird.These parakeets sit in the form of pairs that's why these are called LOVE BIRDS.

Choosing a healthy Lovebird

Choosing a Lovebird is very easy. Before buying lovebird you should check all the body parts of love bird like feet, beak, eyes, tail and feathers etc.You have to check that it is sick or not.

Choosing male and female Lovebird

Choosing male and female Lovebird is not so easy. You have to check their tail, sometime it is difficult to choose because their tail is dirty .Male have triangle shaped tail but female have square shaped tail.Here are some pictures that may help you to understand male and female lovebird.

Breeding Lovebirds

During breeding season you should attach Nesting box (12"x12"x12") with a hole of 3 inches in diameter.

Lovebirds start breeding if their age is between 1-5 years.female lay 3-7 eggs in each clutch, and both male and female incubate them for 23 days.And after 23 days egg will start to hatch.Their new born babies are pinkish.

Diamond Doves

Diamond doves are small kind of bird. These doves are grey coloured and spotted in wild but of different colours in aviaries .These doves are so

beautiful that they are called beauty of nature.

These doves have orange coloured rings arround their eyes.They are 19-21 cm in length and 31.6 - 29.6 Grams in weight.

Diamond doves are easy to kept as pet.These doves are small in size but is so beautiful .To keep diamond doves as pet you will need:

You can make nest at home by cutting a tin.

Diamond doves Breeding

Diamond doves can breed in cage. In the breeding season. of these doves you should attach nesting box
in the cage. Female dove lay 2 eggs in the nest and then both male and female dove incubate the first egg
for 13-15 days and incubate the second egg for 11-12 days.If the eggs hatch You will see small pinkish coloured babies.
