Ringnek Doves                   

Hi everybody now i am sharing some information about ring neck doves.


    
 These ringneck doves are in jungle sitting on a tree.Ring neck doves size is almost 11 inches and almost 140-180 grams in weight.White ringneck doves are often used by magicians.They are also kept as pet bird.They belongs to piegion family.Colours are mentioned below .To keep a ring neck dove as a pet you will need following things;
1.A cage
      


2.A nesting box


3.Food for your ringneck dove


4.A healthy and breeding pair of ringneck dove


Choosing a healthy ringneck doves

Choosing a healthy ringneck dove is very easy. Before you buy a dove you should look his all body parts like beak, feather, feet, tail, neck, eyes and nostrils,that they not damaged.healthy ringneck doves

You can choose colour of your ring neck dove as you wish.
Ringneck doves are of different colour like :


Brownish grey ringneck dove,

Pinkish brown ringneck dove,


White ringneck dove,

Dark brown pied ringneck dove and


Light brown pied ringneck dove.

Choosing a pair of ringneck dove
Always choose a healthy pair ,which is not affected by any disease

This one is female

After buying the male and female clip there wings and put them in a single cage. Gradually they will breed with the passage of time.
Here there are some pairs of ringneck dove

Breeding of ringneck doves

Ringneck doves starts nesting in spring season.


                


Female lays 2 eggs and both the male and female incubate them for 18 days .After 18 days egg starts to hatch .Newly hatched babies are pinkish and look like this
 


Babies with blue eyes are brown or dark coloured or pied and babies with pink eyes are white or pied

Gradually they start growing day by day
  











                                               
They become mature at this stage and start nesting



Ring neck doves diseases 

Ringneck doves cause diseases because of dirty cages and overloading



Avian  pox disease


Tailless disease etc.
